Lupe's Giving Back

It's always uplifting to see someone give back to their community, especially someone as well known as Lupe Fiasco. As a Chicago native, Lupe knows all too well the Windy City can be quite brutal during the winter. He recently went on WGCI a Chicago radio station, and announced how he and The Lupe Fiasco Foundation will be helping the underprivileged of his city. No matter how small the donation there is always a way to help those in need.

Just this year Diane Latiker was nominated for CNN's Top 10 Heros. In her interview with CNN she said, "Deciding eight years ago to open my life to others has enriched not only my life, but the lives of hundreds of young people. This proves to me that giving hope to others is the key to changing lives. For that I am grateful. I know I'm only one person, but I believe in the power of one. I really do. I believe that I can do things and I can change people."

The delivery process wasn't all smooth sailing.  According to Black Celeb Kids , “Mother and baby are fine... had a little scare because the baby came out the womb with the umbilical cord wrapped around his neck. All is well now and everyone is happy.”
